I have a 1999 E36 M3 Cabrio, 32k miles on it or so..., for the last 6 months or so, I've had the Dinan installed Vortech V2-sq supercharger, dinan throttlebody, and dinan exhaust...

The Stock setting for the vortech is 6psi...

I'd like to know if anyone else is running this setup with more boost, for how long they've been running it, and what they had to do to get this to run safely and without incident.

Thanks in advance!

Awesome pic of your track experience. Glad to see you made it out there!

More boost isn't a problem, but too little fuel is. If you can afford for Dinan to re-tune it to 8psi or so, then have them do it. There are plenty of people running turbos with 10psi or better, so 8psi from a blower shouldn't be a big deal.

Wow. I heard 9 out of 10 M3 convertible are automatic. I've been
thinking of selling my 95 M3 and get a newer 99 M3 vert and turbo
it.

Weird. I had a 99 M3 w/the same V2-SQ but from ERT. It pushed
7.5psi though   . You can run up to 8-9psi if you had
a water/air aftercooler or a w/a injection.

You cna change a smaller pulley on the charger, and a bigger
pulley on the crank to get up to 12psi, seened it w/a customers
car.
