Hey all.. I recently changed out my Air Pump about a week ago as dictated by the error codes I got, P1423. Anyhoo, like I said I changed it out and was hoping that eventually the computer will detect that "everything" is flowing ok so... reset time. Well, no luck and I didn't think it would anyway. :rolleyes:

So, if anyone has a Check Engine Light reset tool that I could borrow that would great!! I will be at the drive on Sunday, so if you have one bring it by. I can take care of your lunch as payment, or if you are nice I won't have too.. :D

I have the same problem right now, i need to replace mine also. I wanted to find out what was wrong with mine so i called Bobby at strictly german. I ran up there and he told me what was wrong and then cleared the code. If you want give him a call at 706-654-9103. He should be able to do it for you

Yeah, I spoke to David over there and he said he'll do it for a fee, $37.50.. I guess coz' I didn't have them install the air pump?? Maybe he was kidding.. :confused: I will be going over there when I do my suspension, maybe I will wait until then? I didn't speak with Chuck maybe he'll do it for free??

If you're a normal customer, I'm pretty sure it'll be free. I've been over there quite a few times in the past year.

Well, he did fix the drain hose for my battery when I had it replaced (did it myself). I guess I have only be going to him to fix very minor (read non-labor) items. But, like I said I will be upgrading my suspension and he's slated for the install so, I'll just wait till I do the suspension. At least the part is fixed/replaced so a non-issue, just kinda' annoying with th CE light lit up brightly in the dash.
