So remember that Hartge and Hamann have stuffed V8s from the E39 M5 into E46 M3s...
:devillook
whats the chances of someone stuffing this new V10 and a 7 speed SMG into the same E46 M3 body...
:eyecrazy:
That would be insane.
Just dreaming....

Seing as you'll probably need the full 7-speed box (and ALL the electronics to go with it and the engine) it's unlikely this will happen without crazy amounts of money and parts (ie. E60 M5 donar car, full BMW tools, manuals, keys, etc). It'll be interesting to see if anyone tries it (God knows it's crossed my mind and that of many other people).

It crossed our minds when Delage completed testing a kit for the new V10 motor pushing out 650 HP and 11,000 RPMs.
Now we just need someone to donate their E46 M3, and we'll do the engine swap together with a full exhaust and 2 Delage Sport CF Airboxes with cams and matched s/w.

Mpilot,
Delage already has a kit for the E60 M5 that not even out yet?

Delage recieved an M6 back in May for testing and development.
Well Delage tests all his kits for an extensive period, then we test them here in the US with our conditions before it's released to the market.
This is scheduled to happen once we complete some of our current projects. Maybe towards the begining of the year.

To transfer everything over with the ECU and keys, Count about 100 hrs of labor. Using a Stand alone engine management would be easier on labor.

And better for HP numbers and subsequent tuning in the end...
