I just ordered the new oval borla exhaust. Does anyone have this exhaust? also owners of any borla exhaust, how does it sound? Thanks :)

I have the oval tips as well. I think it looks great and I like the sound also.

I have te Borla exhaust, and SS front and mid-pipes. When I installed the Borla I also installed the SS mid-pipe (the front pipe was not yet available). The sound was good but there was still one resonator left. There was a definite drone at 3,000 rpm or so and it could become quite annoying.This spring the SS front pipe was available and I installed it. The drone was gone and the overall sound much improved as the exhaust system broke in the sound became deeper and meaner but not overly loud. This is how an M3 should sound! I would highly recommend the replacement of the factory pipes.

Yes I remember you! Fortunately you got a faster shipping service but my supplier no longer does that special. I read about your issue with a muffler flange or the spacer during the install. Hope everything worked out ok.

Yea it did. My buddy put on the left one which was a softer compound and not the copper one that it needed. It's all good now and I really like the look of the oval tips. I guess for the most part it's not that popular.
