I need some trim parts and some AC vents for my car. Its a 99 528 and I have tried everybody that I can think of locally.

Strictly German
Alph. Auto
and some other place that told me they only sell interiors complete.

Here is what im looking for. Sorry I dont know part numbers

Drivers side wood trim
Center conolse wood trim
Dash AC vents
Rear passengers AC vents

I havent tried a dealership yet but i might have to if i can find them otherwise.

There is another place in Alabama you might try (can't remember the name). Other than that the only place I can think of is Bavarian Auto Recycling in Rancho Cordova, CA.

I'm a Roman Catholic Canadian, living in the U.S., I have a Korean fiancée, and all my friends are Persian, Indian or South African. I guess im color blind to such things.

On to the interior question, I have bought from pretty much everyone local and I would have to say Alpha. Auto parts (not much selection though, they just bring it from Bimmers South and charge you more for it) and Strictly German. I would go with Strictly German for all your parts, they don't have a great warehousing facility, but they have the best selection available around here. I hate Bimmers South (read my old post of why) and as I said Alpha auto parts really doesn't have a lot, they just bring it from Bimmers South and add a percentage to it.


I was just joking about the racist thing. The reason my name is crackerkorean is because thats what i am. I am half white and half korean. Here is the thread where I explain that.

I mostly deal with strictly german but bobby said he doenst get many E39 chassis thats why I was looking else ware.

I have to go up there thursday so I guess I will ask him if i can have dibs on an e39 if one comes in.
