my friend has an s4 and he managed to cut one of the wires going into his headlight from the parking light(blinker), so instead of the amber parking lights being illuminated and ruining the xenon look when the lights are on, they do not come on anymore when you turn them on. evrything works normal, the blinker blinks when signaling, and hazards.

i am wondering if anyone has done this on their e46, and i am also wondering if snipping a wire could trigger the computer to thinking i have a light out, because i do not want to go to the dealership to have them reset the dashboard, and have them see a bunch of electrical tape from testing/snipping each wire.

Not possible on the E46... it uses a single filament bulb, cut that wire and you lose both park lights and blinkers.

that sucks...
