does anybody know what the widest rear tire/wheel combo you can run on an m3 is?
would there be any drawbacks to running an extra wide rear?

I would be surprised with 2.5 degrees of negative camber that 275's would rub. However, I think some are running around -3.5 degrees of negative camber and can fit the 285's without rubbing. That much negative camber should not have to bad of an effect on tire wear. It's when you start playing around with toe ... I only rubs when i turn on hills in Tallahassee and/or if my trunk is loaded or if I have passangers in the back. 285's w/19s must be a mean setup.
