OK guys, the new 7 is in need of a few minor fixes. The passenger side rear door's ash tray doesn't stay closed. Also, the glove compartment lost a few pieces and now it won't open the glove compartment. :help

I had the same problem with the ashtray. You'll have to remove the door panel and take it off of the panel to do anything about it. Once it's removed you can see the gear mechanism on the side of it. In my case the metal spring pin had worn through the plastic - I tried to fix it but it only stayed fixed for a month or so. One of these days I'm going to just glue it shut because they want a fortune for it.

I've had the same problem on the glove box but I had it fixed for me.
