me and my dad were in a nasty accident yesterday on 95 in his 1995 325is. the whole drivers side door, rear quarter panel and center pilar need to be replaced. anybody know of any good bodyshops in the Maryland/DC/VA area?
Moving to regional forum ...
Wagonworks in NoVA has been highly recommended, although I have never taken my car there-I've attended a seminar there and they are quite meticulous with their work.
I've taken my car to Elite Autohaus in Jessup MD and they do EXCELLENT work.
As I said on DTM, stay away from Kurz.

I read that thread about your experience at Kurz-that is crazy, man!!!!!
Hope it all works out.
Thanks, I should know soon. The car is ate Autobody Connection in German town. I'm hoping to get it back next week.

In Batimore area, Collision Crafters Carstar 410-342-1560. A couple of the guys down there even have BMW NA training. If you call there talk to Jeff the owner. Excellent work and factory finish.

Master Crafters in Rockville will be doing some work for me. I was referred to the place by Dan Martin in G'bg...

I've had experiences with the following two shops. Both do excellent work.
In Va, Wagonwork ( Rt 1 Alexandria outside Crystal City) 703 684-2985, excellent and maticulous work but very pricey!
In Md, Collision Works (Beltsville ) (301) 595-0187 Again, excellent work but not as pricey as Wagonwork.
Both shops work exclusively on high end vehicles.
