I had a set of RE730s that cupped... with no explanation. Car was in alignment specs, tire pressure was within reason...
That was a bit upsetting because they were only 50% worn.
but I have a set of S03s now that I love.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Actually, for a bargin performance tire the RE730 is prety darn good. It definatly beats the Kumho. But, it isn't even on the same level as the S-03. The RE730 does have a reputation for getting LOUD after about 50%. I have heard some stories about cupping, but t seems to be on par with other tires of its nature.

Hey Jim, I'll be out in San Diego in a few weeks for spring break. I need a rental car for the week. Wanna lend me Katerina? :D

I agree that Bridgestone tires suck! One of my sets of S-02s only lasted 6K miles. Who cares if I was autoxing every weekend on them? Anyway, my Big O tires last 60K miles, and cost 1/5 of the price of the Bridgestones...

That's nothing. I have the same tires on my lawnmower that I bought when I got married in 1978.

Well, maybe you should mow the lawn once in a while! :)

Ha, 6K, that's nothin.....I've destroyed several sets of BRAND NEW S-03's in less than an hour per set! And once I wreck 'em, I have a guy who puts a new set on and I go destroy them.:buttrock
You're just going to have to try harder Jim.:stickoutt

Just wait until you have to pay for them - you'll be on the Big O tires in no time...

Are those Big O(chi) tires? Do you make them in the garage? :)
