Great driving SUV. Great handling for what it is. Pretty quick too. The interior needs serious help from someone besides Bangle. Great sunroof. Back seats suck. Too upright with no lower back support. Great stance. Nice and low. Those 20 inch rims look great. I really thought the adjustable ride height was pretty cool too. I am thinking of trading my landcruiser and my 03 M3 conv. for it. The only thing is, I will be towing a trailer with my other car inside. I think it all weghs around 6K lbs, which is the maximum tow weght for the X5. Has anyone towed a serious load with one of these? Was it easy to control? Did the front end lift with all the weght? I loved it except forthe dash and the back seats, but it has to be able to tow a car several hundred miles occasionally. Any help out there?

Yeah, I don't think that's the car for you... not if you have to pull 6,000+ lbs as that's the maximum towing weight. You're probably better off with a diesel truck of some sort that's made to pull that kind of weight.

VW also makes a V10 diesel Toureg which will pull 8000 pounds. Also, maybe a Porsche Cayenne as they have a pretty high tow capacity I think.
