Anyone got any further information on it? It's suppose to be coming out as a 2005 vehicle. If you find any more pics, post them here.

It's not coming out. Those are just rumors, and that just looks like a horrible PhotoCHOPPED image.

Yep, He's right...Also in a couple years, The X5 is going to have a third row seat, so their really isnt a point of making one..

Yeah i heard the same thing about third row seating when they come out with a new body style. I hope they have the third row seating as an option though since it takes away from cargo space, unless they can figure out a way to store the seats in the floor or something. I prefer the cargo space and use that a lot more than the third row seating.

if they use run flat tires there would be plenty of space.

Don't like it, at all!

Anybody heard about the pick-up truck by BMW? They are ruining it!

However, I do have to say that people here in Germany use their bimmers and mercedes to haul all kinds of junk; trailers and horses especially. They don't have the same perception of BMW as most Americans do!

You mean this:

However, i don't think BMW ever made that (not even a concept), and it was just a photoshop by some dude. Atleast thats what i hope.

Most Americans and German have different perceptions of bimmers because of the prices. They can be found much cheaper there and with hubcaps even. I can't imagine seeing and newer model bimmer with hubcaps here in the US. As for the large X vehichles, the people there use them for their purposes, take them off-roading, tow trailers etc... That's how they should be used.

That's the thing, though, I don't really think they are THAT much cheaper for the Germans. My X3 was a military sales purchase, about $3000 less than what I built on a US website. My same X3 was on the showroom floor and it was 50.000,00 Euro for the Germans (about $20,000.00 more than I paid).

As far as what they us them for, they don't even bother using the X models and such, they will pull a horse trailier with a 5 or 7 series sedan! It's amazing to me.

I'd love a BMW truck, the midsize offerings available, nissan, toyota, etc really don't offer much refinement.

I dont think its a rumor. I actually talked to our salesmen when we bought the 4.8 about the X7. He's saying 2006-07.

The X5 should be getting a facelift sometime soon. BMW models normally have a run of 6-8 years. The X5 should be due around 07-08.

But I wouldn't let that take me from getting the current E53 X5. Even though I am a fan of many of the new models, with BMW these days you might not know what kind of thing they do with the new body X5's.

WOW. What a chunk of ugly.

AT LEAST WE HAVE THE COMFORT OF KNOWING THAT IT WILL NEVER BE PRODUCED.

A BIGGER VEHICLE RIGHT NOW IS NOT BETTER.
