ok i use the 535 as my daily driver... but it is the only car i own... what do you think i should do? (currently both my a/c and my driveshaft are broken)

i would say go with the tranny swap since your auto tranny has 180k miles on it. on top of that you will have a more enjoyable car IMO.

Do the manny tranny swap and get one of those little electric fans that you can sit on the dash! :)

oh shit i forgot to mention... if i get the tranny swap.... i wont be able to go to the 5er norcal meet...

:( that sucks! i would say gor for the tranny swap. when she needs it, she needs it. we'll just have to plan another meet that you can make it to. werd.

edit...and get the AC fixed. especially since its summer right now.

be realistic. You won't have a car for over a month if you do the swap(for whatever reason) You won't make the 5er meet unless you get a ride and you won't have AC which is neccasary in your state.

I would be more realistic and practical, but thats just me. Your car is your daily driver, not a track car. When you get an M3 in a few years you can do a tranny swap and turn the e34 into a track beast. Or leave it as a "pimpin" car and race the M3.

I don't know. I think you should think about it from a few different angles.
