Damn... is it just me, or does this SAV look awesome in red? I saw one the other day and it looked so hot... It's the only vehicle of it's type that can wear the red paint scheme and still look good.

I've seen the 4.6 in Imola Red, looks awesome. I haven't even seen the 4.8 in person yet.

New rear cover. Much cleaner than my '03 since it scrolls in.

Damn, that is a work of art. My new dream car, if the interior was hyped on luxurty a little more like The range.

But the skyroof blows the range away.

Wow, i used to be a pretty big Range Rover fan until the X5 was born, this just reinforced my new dream SUV/SAV.

hmmm..you think it would look better if the black molding was painted to match the color of the body? either way the truck is HOTT!

Wow....that sunroof is awesome!

Shame my folks want to trade the 4.4i for the new Range Rover and not the 4.8

Dream Car:

X5 4.8is. Le Mans Blue Metallic, Black/Blue Alcantara Leather and the Blue interior trim. Added in a retractable cargo floor and navigation for 2180 more and its loaded with every possible option. MSRP comes out to be 72,675.
And yes i love blue, even convinced the folks to buy a Topaz X5. :D

Much better deal than the Range Rover. Here is a comparison i did of the X5 with the G55 AMG and the Range Rover Westminster (about 12 K more than HSE):

X5 clearly domintes.

well a 4.8 v8 does not sound like it'll be as slow as a car. And you'll have the added cargo room and it is as small as a car compared to the larger suv's that need a block to park.

I think its a fine car, an awsome SUV, and Id get one as a daily driver car... I'd just never trade an M3 or fast car for one as my only vehicle.
-Everything being referenced to a 4.4 ...but non the less a 4 something BMW v8
