View Full Version : Fireworks in Canada...
Gary-TulZa 07-02-2004, 10:17 AM Do Canuks get to experience the marvel & often unexpected disasters of having unfettered access to fireworks?
I would feel sorry our northern brothers if they've never had the opportunity to blow a finger off, or become partially blinded due to the sudden flash of a quick fuse... :devillook
yes we have fire works, they are all over the place this weekend specially last night. oh last night. :)
Gary-TulZa 07-02-2004, 11:13 AM That's great!!! :buttrock
Man, I'm looking forward to blowing the hell outta everything this weekend! :D
midlifecrisis 07-02-2004, 02:51 PM blowing the hell outta things is great but not better than getting blown :D
Fireworks are awesome! I was 12 years old and I bought this huge-ass rocket, brought it home, and told dad to help me light it up. he was willing of course...and then I said, you know dad, the shopkeeper said this thing is so awesome that it will blow up your house when you set it off, and dad goes "and you bought it?" :D
I didn't want to engage dad in a conversation about metaphors and their use in the vernacular.
Anyway, Happy 4th to all of you even though this is the Canadian forum.
Gary-TulZa 07-02-2004, 02:55 PM Nice story Omar, & have a fun & safe holiday yourself!!!

Grrrrrrrrrr i just went outside to admire my baby, and there is bird shit all over it. ^ hours of cleaning and a bird shits on my car. ah time to wash it again.
SilverStreak 07-03-2004, 05:33 PM See.... if you set off fireworks regularly, no bird would come anywhere near your house... :D
hehe i think my neighbours would love me if i was out there everynight setting off fireworks.
Altho my uncle made a good comment when i was bitching about birds craping on my car after i wash it, "you ever notice that there is no birdshit on the drive when you car isnt here?"

God know we did it alot....

Roman candles, pop bottle rockets, reloadable mortars, and my favorite, sparkler bombs (take 5-6 packages of sparklers, duct-tape the hell out of them and leave one sticking out the end.... BOOM!!!!)
Good times!!
