How do you take off the the door panels on an E30?:devillook

There are two screws in the handle area. Then pull out the entire mirror adjust plug and remove the phillips screw up inside on the top. Unplug the mirror control from the harness.

Then start pulling the skin free on the latch edge and feel carefully. There are about 3 snap in plugs on the edge. Feel where they are and carefully pull them straight out one at a time. A butter knife prying up on each side of the snap clip will work too if you feel ham-handed. Pull them all free then work your way along the bottom edge (about 4 clips) and then do the 3 clips or so on the hinge edge.

Now lift straight up to remove the panel.

I may have missed a step but that's it basically. Don't force anything. If it feels stuck, look for more screws but there should be only 3.
