When Vitolo actually gets around to BUYing a suspension, :D he'll likely buy the TC Kline Tru-Match setup that I've been running for the past year!

You can pretty much ignore what most people tell you about spring rates and call Pete or TC and tell them what you want out of your car, then they can make educated spring suggestions for you.

Mine is primarily a daily driver with auto-x secondary and I want to maintain a comfortable ride driving into Boston. For that reason I chose 300/400 for rates and stiff sways. It's an awesome setup and Vitolo liked mine enough to make that his likely choice. I've driven Doc's car with an identical suspension except for stiffer springs (450/500) and it's quite nice as well, but I haven't driven it into Boston... ;)

I could talk about suspensions for some time, but call TC and get the facts straight from them. Oh, tell 'em Max sent ya! :)

Dude have you checked out the 7 Series forum here? Those guys are as insane with their E32/E38/etc as we are with our cars, I bet they can easily advise you on the best setup for the car:

Yeah I've been lurking there. Slowly building a list of mods and calculating the finances to achieve those mods. Heh I even think I qualify for the "e38 beef club" heheheh

I'm definitely into the dual exhaust bumper/system and some HID's among a little Dinan intake and computer goodness. I'm wondering if I can get the 7 to handle like the vette though and what it would take to do that. And of course not sacrifice the winter drivability and smoothness of that car. Heheh we'll see what happens... :evil2
