hey fellas,

I have 93 525i and I just got some oem m-parallels and Im looking at going with the koni sports and eibach springs, I had a shop quote me $450 for labor to install the suspension.
Is that the going price or is that high.
Any one have any good shops in socal to refer ??.
Also is there any local shops that sell koni's or would I be better off online.

thanks,
darron

450 is crazy expensive for just labor. Look to spend about 200 dollars. If not, do it yourself. I have seen the install and it's pretty simple and straightforward if you can obtain a spring compressor (you can rent one at kragen or autozone).

Call Ranchill Motorsports in Bellflower. I heard they are pretty cheap on installing springs and shocks.

ur... you don't want to be driving for any amount of distance after changing the line without bleeding. .. No shop will ever let you go without bleeding.

That is 12" plus of air pocket. so you will have no brakes.

Just Found a cool little place that service MB and BMW in Rosemead. It was refer by another forum member. MB auto 2727 stingle. rosemand. got great pricing on work done to my car recently.

a year ago. Discount tires in El monte did my install for $200. also they can align the car too for $50 more.

I have Boge and Eibach now. I swap out my bilstein HD to Boge (oem spec).. Bilstein made my 93-525 ride like crap. It was so harsh and I started to hate the car.
