ok, so now i'm trying to remove all the safety stickers that have been on this thing since 1997, and the ones on the instrument cluster lens left a nasty residue. i obviously don't want to eff this one up, so i was wondering if anyone can suggest a mild solvent that would be safe for the clear plastic.

Just go to the store, they make all kinds of products for this.

Stickershock comes to mind, but may be too harsh? There are also the citrus based solvents that should work just fine.

thanks brian. after you mentioned the citrus, i remembered the simple green bottle we have laying around, and it worked quite nicely.
