I have been asked by several people to put together another Stanford meet again.

The meet will be at 7/25/04.

We will meet at 11:00pm as before. I will arrange to have part of the parking lot blocked off again once we have a more accurate account.

If enough of you are interested, I will arrange to have a BBQ place come out and provide lunch. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY YOUR OWN WAY but if enough of you are interested I will call and have them come out.

We will do a drive as well. I will work out the drive details and post them more towards the meet.

We had 63 cars last time so lets meet or beet this number.

Is there any kind of "drive" scheduled. I heard the last one was a lot of freeway-traffic-stop-and-go crap. Either way, just seeing all those modded bmws in one spot is good enough for me. Any way we could possibly organize the cars by model (..., e30, e34, e36, e39, e46, ...). There were to many cars for me to keep track of last time. I couldn't remember what I had seen where.

IT is a meet and drive. The BBQ idea was to have someone come out and cater. However the response to the BBQ idea has been limited.

All you need to bring is yourself / a car (BMW or other) / and a radio if you have one

I contacted several local news stations to see if they wanted to do a story on the meet. We shall see if any of them show up.

I will be posting the parking area and final details for the meeting area and drive this weekend. Stanford mall has been contacted and will be reserving the area for us like last time so we can get a good group photo.

Maybe 1 hour ish or more. We did HW 1 last time and it was fun but people complained. This is more freeway driving which can give us opportunities for good action shots and group driving.

You are correct on everyone paying their own way. However as I have had only 15 people say they wanted to do the BBQ idea for sure. I think we will need to scrap the BBQ idea for this meet. We need a minimum of 25 people and the only place I could find close to Stanford was charging $11 a head. The cost went down for the more people you had. I am not going to put up the deposit to get screwed in the end. So it looks like no BBQ :(

Next meet I am bringing my own grill. I am not able to bring it this meet.

Hey Aldo, we are NOT doing the Saturday drive, but ARE going to the Stanford meet.
Cliff, Pat & Darrel are meeting at MY house between 9:15 & 9:30 in Pleasanton, then going to the In & Out on McCarthy Rd in Milpitas.
If you want you can come to my house and cruise out with us.
I know it's easier for you to get right on 880, but the offer is there if you want it. :buttrock

Yeah, I blame the guy driving the Z4. He took 101 south, not north... I can't believe I followed him, I live right there in palo alto for cryin' out loud!

But yeah, it was real fun, never seen so many tricked out cars in my life. Especially the E46's. Awesome!

Good meet, lots of nice cars. Im resizing and uploading my picture gallery right now.

Too bad no other M Coupes showed up, but the E36 and E46 turnout was real good. Damn that ATP Turbo 330 was the craziest car Ive ever heard. damn that shit was loud, nice work!

Drive was fun though, I guess I didnt read the threard carefully enough I didnt know there was a drive, so I didnt bring my radio. So when we got to SF, wasnt sure where you guys were going. So I just went home.

No I wasnt able to go since my car is still not repaired. I just know all of those guys Rick(EuroprojektzM3), Paul(ATP330), Hin(Team151), Melissa(Eurobotique),Pat(330ZHP), Andrew(325i) Know as (BimmerStryker), Kenny etc.... I know more E46er's than E36er's. Most of the E46er's are from the Southbay.

I wish I could go but I didnt have a ride up there from a Norcaler. I said I was gonna pay for all of the toll. Its all good im sure adam will put one up again before school starts. RIGHT ADAM? :D
