I like the architecture of your home (or what I can see of the garage);)

the car lives in carmel. its parked in a garage collecting dust. of course dust on the car cover but it rarely get driven. it only has 950 miles on it. and its almost a year old

May I ask why you bought that car and dont ever drive it? You arent even through break in, meaning you haven't ever taken it into the RPM's where the car really shines. Are you planning on the value appreciating in the future?

I wish I had some pics of my dad's car. Next time I go visit them, I'll snap some pics. I love the lines of that car, not to mention that engine.

M34Ever, where do you live in the Bay? My dad drives his everyday and its silver.

Its pretty much a summer car. I am annal about putting dings and scratches on it. Plus I really want to keep the milage down. I plan on having it for a very LONG time. I can hardly wait till the motor is broken in and i can really open her up.

I'm confused. I thought this wasn't your car?? i.e. Another family members (father perhaps?) Forgive my ignorance, but in the post, you make referance to owning the car.

Maybe we have two posters (father and son) under the same id here:az: :)

Either way,

If I were you (or whoever owns it), at least get the thing thru break in so you can drive it like its meant to be driven.

IMO, why own something that is going to depreciate in valve if you dont enjoy it.

Gosh I haven't seen the Z8 in a long time... the lines of that car were just phenomenally well designed... like a Ferrari or Lambo, it is still a major eye-grabber. It is truly very special to own one.
