Alright. I'm about to sell my car. Thought to put it up here first. Car is a Texas car, then spent a year in NY where it wasn't really driven, then spent a year in Cali. It's just BEGGING to get back west.
Alpine white, dove gray, manual, 104k miles. $15k.
Its covered in my back yard right now (yes, you get the cover as well). However, insurance payments are 1/10th my salary. And I'm only going to be using it on the weekends, so I figure I might as well sell it now before next year comes and I'm DEFINITELY going to sell it. I've put a nice 6 grand into the car fixing all the things that happen right at the "100k" mark (clutch, radiator, water pump, seals, bushings) so you need not worry about any of those.
IT is an AWESOME car. And as the M3's go, the 95 is the best. Easily modified engine. OBD1 emissions.
Repairs:
- hood, lights, front fairing, and right front quarter panel was all replaced in a "roll back crunch" (from the previous owner) where a SUV rolled back on the car and smashed those items (its a nice fix, no major damage, and a like new hook, quarter panel, front fairing)
- replaced waterpump, radiator, sump, etc.
- replaced rear shock mounts (reinforced mounts)
- replaced RTAB's
- replaced clutch, guibo, misc. mounts, transmission seals
- replaced all fluids (transmission, brake, power steering, etc.) at 99k (Inspection II service, I believe)
- replaced front rotors, pads (replaced stock fronts with BMW M3 Euro rotors)
- regular oil changes (still uses dino oil, doesn't burn a drop, but that's a given for these cars)
- 2 Rockford Fosgate amps, 8" subs, Boston Acoustic Proseries in the front
- replaced all weatherstripping
Issues:
- scratch, rear right wheel well, about 1"
- powersteering (as addressed on the forum, there are some powersteering issues, I believe the pump has to be replaced; this is going to be fixed, but knock $500 off the price if you want it pre-fixed)
- spare tire is not the stock
- a lil bit of rash on the wheels
- the 8" subs should be replaced by JL Stealthboxes
All in all the car is very solid, great looking car, that gets all the ladies and drives like a dream. I'd love to keep it. I'm in no rush to sell the thing, but thought I'd put it out there as this is the time to sell. It still has Cali plates on it. Title is in my hand.
I'm entertaining serious offers. Click on my sig to see my service history (damn you two radiators!)
