i'm lookign for another E36 ... 328is to be more exact. since we have so many people on this board i thought this might be a good place to start looking. one of my friends goes to dealers auctions but E36s are getting harder to find everyday and i'm not sure i want to deal with all the hassle of looking for a car the whole summer.

as far as price goes i am willing to pay what's fair for the car. i know these cars pretty well and i am aware of how much they're going for on the market .bottomline is that i won't lowball anyone but in the same time i'm not going to get ripped off.

now that we have that out of the way here is what i am looking for:

-the car has to be a 328is(for the right price i MIGHT consider a 4 door, no convt. because i don't have a garage)
-MUST BE MANUAL
-the year should fall around '96-'98(99 is a little out of my range and i don't want to waste anybodys time)
-needs to be sport package(somewhat flexible here)
-preferably black exterior(i'm flexible on this w/ one exception ... it cant be green) and black interior(also flexible, tan is also good but it CANNOT be dove gray ... i had that on my previous E36 and it's a pain)
-preferably stock
-miles NEED to be under 90k .... i would preffer something with ~80k miles
-needs to drive good and to be well maintained.
-*i would preffer a 97 because of the updates(redesigned front grill/kidneys, fixed water pump, side airbags etc.)

thanks and let me know if you have/can get something that fits my description. dealers please PM me if you think you can help me out in finding what i want.

thanks.

man, too bad you dont want dove grey interior. I just got in a 98 328is, silver/grey, hk, prem package w/ wood trim, pretty good condition overall, 76k miles, only 14.9k

that doesnt sound too bad but dove gray is a NO NO for me. i will never own a BMW with that interior again. anyhow that car was a bit out of my range @ 14.9k.

i'm looking for something priced a little lower than that ... and i'm not in a hurry.

Please let me know if you get any other ones.

thanks.
