I was searching about paint and I ran into this product ToughGuard it claims that they use this on army planes etc and you never have to wax your car for the next 5 years or 100k miles. Have any of you heard of it. I am sure its too good to be true. But check it out..there is a Video too.

yeah, if it really worked, everyone would use it and no one ever wax thier car. the methods floating around the board are probably the best you'll ever find.

Hey guys.........guess what...this Toughguard stuff really does work...i know it sounds too good to be true......but it really is. I'm a detailer and a couple of months ago a guy that i detail cars for got the new Maybach 57 and he said the Mercedes dealer that he got if from recomended him to use this Toughguard stuff, and he got me to apply it. In the brochure is talks about how the product is used on military boats and planes, and on commercial plane, as well as being used on cars and that it has a 5 year warranty. The appllication process isnt that hard. You bathe the car in hot water that has polarizatoin crystals dissolved in it, and then you just wax it like normal. I was amazed to say the least when i saw the result........you could basically see yourself in the two-tone grey/blue paint because it was like a mirror. ive ordered some of this stuff from http://www.1toughguard.com/index.html. Its $97 until May 18th, and then itll go back to its normal price of $127. Go to the above website, and then to "our customers" to see some satisfied customer cars and planes. Oh yeah....and the best part......you never have to wax your car for 5 years!!!!
Has this product been tested for 5 years? Left in all sorts of elements for testing? How do you wash it? No swirls, fading, or deterioration at all?

are you talking to me? I wasn't there on sunday. I'm over in africa shooting at looters. :camper
Bob's car looks great but you can still see the lines and that's not for me...cause they are still visible. if you say they aren't, click here (http://www.pearlevision.com) for some help
I know Bob, he's a great guy, but his integrity has nothing to do with this thread.....we're talking about stonegard, nothing more.
Oh, I'm just wondering how this product claims all these statistics. Have fun in Africa!
