haha... on the PERFECT stretch of road I ran into one of the late 70's Corvette Stingrays. For some reason this highway has stoplights on it (I dunno Tucson is wierd) and I pulled up next to him. He was some punk-ish looking kid and he gave me the "My car is 10x better than yours" look. So, I figured what the hell.. and when the light turns green I mash it. He just sits there at the light and I was like WTF so I slow back down... I guess he stalled it :nono

I go about 40 mph till he catches back up and gives me the "ricer" (corn boy?) flyby. He slows down again and starts pacing me... so this is perfect now... my 325 is only quick on the freeway so if I stand a chance anywhere this is probably it. He honks 3 times and I mash it on the 3rd... inching away from him. Shift to 3rd gear... pulling away pretty good, get past 85 and he's getting walked. haha. I slow back down and he gets behind me and starts tailgating me... :shifty So I decide to take the next exit and he follows me for about 2 miles then finally zooms around me, flips me off, and starts weaving through traffic.

Aren't those the slowest Corvettes due to emissions regulations? I was suprised I was able to pull him like that... I don't think he could drive either since he stalled it at the first light haha

Any C3 Corvette after 1975 is a serious TURD!!!

If it had the ghey looking urethane front and rear bumpers instead of any chrome bits you know it is a post 74ish 'vette... most made less than 200bhp... teh sux0r!

Nice kill, that dude was a 'tard! :buttrock

most 'vettes from the C3-era had 350ci motors, although there were MANY options... the late 70s really sux0r'd though... emissions laws and the energy crisis strangled the motors and almost killed the cars completely.

Yep.. that was definately a post 75 car... paint was flaking off the front and rear bumpers. I read somewhere that their 350 only put out like 150-170 horsepower ... The guy driving it looked like Kid Rock.

Yeah, late 70's early 80's C3 Vettes were around 180-205 bhp....
