This happened a couple weeks ago, but I was too lazy to post it.

I was going down the highway at about 60 MPH in the far right lane. A silver 350Z came up behind me, switched lanes, and pulled up next to, and paced me. We both gave each other the thumbs up. He pointed forward, and we both gunned it. At first, he got the jump, but around 80 MPH or so, I started to gain ever-so-slightly. We shut it down at 95 MPH or so. We did this three times, and the same thing happened each time.

Those things are pretty quick. The stock exhaust on the 350Z and G35 sounds really good.

Yeah i love the engine and exhaust sound of the 350z, my buddy has one, but auto :(.

Either way thats about my experience as well, i pull on him just a little bit most of the time. He's caught me slightly offguard a few times, if they get a good jump on ya, not likely to recover.

I raced a G35 last night, he kept speeding up to get beside me but then wouldn't go for like 20 minutes. Finally I see him hit it and I proceed to do the same already being a little behind, well it was practically even from 80-120mph when he let off. Like dave said, awesome sound!
