Actually there is a little cool area in "downtown" with bars and restaurants. But that's about it-a little too red-necky for me. Nothing really worth driving out for.

hey guys, how does htis weekend look? I was thinking meeting maybe at the mero station, where we would have plenty of parking, and then maybe we can chill for a little while then go and grab some food at batemans or somewhere else even. I am thinking of the place in the parking lot right where you would come in if you were arriving from 795. It is tucked way back in the corner, and no one ever parks there. As for a time I have no idea..........I guess we will need to work it out. Sat or saunday, or would the weekend after that be better? Let me know.

I have an autox up at Cal Ripken stadium on Sat, then one in Rosecroft on Sun.

Next weekend is 4th of July-I'll be at the beach and seems like a lot of people are going to Bimmerfest.

The 10th sounds cool. Bateman's isn't too far from there either-wingzzzZzz and beerzzZZzzZ. Too bad they took out the pool tables.

Or we could even go to Padonia Station (also owned by Bateman's). That is a cool place-much bigger and they have pool tables, air hockey and other stuff. Plus decent girls if you go at the right time.

well so far I am not 100% sure, right now I am just trying to get some people to vouge to come on the 10th. We prob wi'' roll over to Batemans or wherever as soon as everyone gets there. Oh yeah, there will be no messing around in the parking lot at all. It attracts cops, and is a good way to have asked to leave. Anyone dicks aorund I will personally ask you not to join us for the rest of the night. It isn't our property so we shouldn't abuse it. If for some reason we can't meet there w can all meet behind Northwest BMW they have a huge parking lot there too, and I am sure no one would mind us being there.

I don't have a 318. I have an imported M Technic that was converted to us spec in 1998. It was sold as a 1997 328is M Technic in germany because it was dicontinued in the states after the production of the 150 in 1994. Also is came stock w/ the 328 engine instead of the 325 like the original M Technics. I did some research and found out that the M Technic was available in the european market from 94-98, in 96 they started putting the 2.8 liter engine in them. My car was owned by someone in the millitary, and brought bale to the states in 98 when it underwent US spec regulations, then it was sold to A women that I know, and I bought it from her. I should make a thread about this because I have had to explain it so often......lol. Everytime I tell someone it is an M Technic they say I am lying and that I converted it, so then I always end up having to bust out the window tag and the import papers just to prove my point.

I have decided to cahnge the location slightly........We will not be able to meet in the Metro Parking lot, because the transit police will boot us no matter what, even if we are being good. Instead we will meet behind Northwest BMW. If you take the 795 exit off of 695, then cruz down 795 a bit, and the first exit you come to will be Owings Mills Blvd. Take it and stay to the right. You will then come to a traffic light. Go straight through the first light. at the second light bear right......this puts you on riesterstown road. When you see signs for Sams Club and Wall Mart turn there (it will be the 5th light you come to on riesterstown road). make the first left that you can, and when you see a movie theatre on your right hand side turn left into the parking lot. The parking lot is in the rear of a few white buildings. Make sure you go all the way to the back of the lot. We will all meet there. So basically pass the lows theatre on your right and keep going then turn into the lot, it's kinda a little corner, but you'll see. So the 10th it is. As of now I am saying we meet at 6:00 pm'ish, is that time cool w/ you guys? I will make a map and post it here as a pic for you guys. Batemans is on Riesterstown Road. If you take 795 all the way to the end, but stay to the left, if you go right that is 140, and wil ltake you to Westminster. First light you come to turn right. then you will dead-end at a light, make a right, thats Main street/Reisterstown Road, then go about 2miles and you will see an everfresh on your left right by a light, turn there ,and Batemans is in that shopping center. The intersection is where main street turns into 2 lanes instead of one (aka Riesterstown Road)

Might be easier to get off at Frankyland Blvd, and go Norf on 140. :D

Take 695 to 795, and get off at the 2nd exit which is Franklin Blvd. (East/North) then hang a left on Reisterstown Rd and go a couple of miles and it's on your right.

It's in a shopping center and you can't see Bateman's from the road. After you hang a left onto Reisterstown Rd, it's like 2-3 lights. You'll pass Franklin HS on your left. Go till you hit the light with the 7-11 on the left hand side of the intersection and make a right there.

There will be a Royal Farms on your right and the the shopping center will be there on the left (there is a Super Fresh or some grocery store). Take your first left after the Royal Farms to the shopping center.

It is the section of the mall with the M&T bank. There is a China Moon restaurant right next door to it.

devilbones is gonna have to drive right past Baysox stadium because he's going north anyway. But for the rest of us, it would be in the opposite direction. I'm guessing you'd be going 50 to 97? Or 50 to rt. 3, either way, howz about somewhere a lil more north to not inconvienience Avus95? For you and I it doesn't matter. Just a suggestion, I'm down for Baysox, it's like 5 mins from my house. Gotta clean the car tomorrow!

I don't mind it is only a few miles south. If not you can stop through on veterans highway and meet me at McDonalds on the corner of old mill road and verterans highway. Either way just let me know.

I am not sure how long we will be at the lot..........or batemans for that matter. Everyone understand how to get to the lot?? Once again here is my cell for anyone who has any questions at all. Call anytime.......... 410 961 0435 I wanan compile a list of everyone meeting at the lot and everyone that will chime in later @ batemans, this way we won't leave anyone behind at the lot. so just reply lot or batemans. Might make it a little easier.

For those of us that are meeting at the BaySox stadium I suggest we meet about a hour or so before we are supposed to be at "the meet". Actually we should plan on meeting 1 1/2 hours before the planed meeting time because as we all know not everyone is on time. If we are supposed to meet "everyone" at 6pm we should try to be at the stadium around 4:30. Just a idea. Everyone agree?

I'll be there a little early in case we have some early arrivals, and you will clearly be able to see me all the way at the end of the road past Lowes. lol Juan knows where to go..........he thought it was today, and i saw him bumble clouding around the lot. oh yeah nayone know anything about the e46 xenon balats? I have one that has stoped working......i am thinking it might be water damage from that rain we had the otherday but i am not sure. One powers up but the other won't, and it isn't the bulb. I have them retro'ed into my fogs. It is the ds2 bulbs w/ ignighters and balasts.......i hate only having one fog light on.........it looks so cheesy :(

I do, i retro'ed d2s's from an m3 into my e36 fogs, looks awsome, but i think the ballast or ignighter might have shorted. I have xenon's in my zkw's as well but they are the pnp h1's

The meet should be great. hopefully we can get some good pics. I've never been to Batemans but everyone talks about it. I guess its just another one of those laid-back bar/resturants. You wont be able to drink there (unless someone orders one and gives it to you) but you wont be the youngest there.

Whattt you live in Baltimore and you've never been to Bateman's?? Whoa. The one in Towson on York Road is pretty famous, and Monday night Wing Night's are crazy, so many hot girls there. I know if Dave comes he'll order us a few beers :D
