so it monday the 14 and it was graduation date, i had to be there at 4:00 pm. and the barber took forevever to cut my hair. well long story kinda short. i was late for my graduation from high school and i was hauling ass down the blvd. and i come to a stop where it crosses a highway, and next to me pu;;s up a motorcyclem, not new but not that old, it was full of decals, so i thought this guy must have his bike fixed up. so he turns over and looks at me and points his finger, so i think "what the hell, im going that way anyway". so the light turns green and we gun it, of course he takes me at take off but once we hit 40mph, my car suddenly oppens the second throttle and jumps to 111mph in seconds, all i remember is him going through his gears like crazy but the last view was through the rear view. so thats my kill :alright

Translation: He already beat you by the time you hit forty, let off, and you did a ricer flyby.

LOL! he let off after 40mph because I think he just want to race to the speed limit. After all if it's a motorcycle (especially superbikes) you'll never win unless you are a modified supra :)

Dont take it to heart. I beat a GSXR 750 one time. Granted, ive ridden that exact model before and i know i should have gotten hammered, but not nearly everyone that straddles a bike can ride it to its potential. 11 sec bike / 15 sec pilot = 13 sec encounter. You'd be suprised.

Your car opened a second throttle? I thought only M42s had that... what gives?

oh man, i rode one of these things before, i dont know why people waste money on them, they look pretty decent...but when you rev the engine, and think your going to sound cool... all you hear is pfffffftbbtttthhhht.....its so weak, and then everyone looks at you like you a little girl....errr um.. yea enough of my ranting...

nah he didnt give up at 40mph, thats when i caught him and started to run through his gears but once he relized i was gaining speed faster than him he gave up, i think it was a honda cbx600, i remember reading honda on it though

When I'm at stoplights on my bike, and the car next to me takes off hard thinking they can take me, I usually wind out 1st, ~40-45mph. By this time I am about 2-3 car lengths ahead. That's when I short shift("run through my gears") all the way to 6th and cruise because the point is usually made.
I'm not saying I don't believe you though... :evil2
