Their name is FUNSA - on Atlantic Ave. ///Manny 06-19-2004, 02:40 AM nothing's really wrong with rimpro,.. it's more of a personal thing.. they let go a good friend of mine for a crappy reason.. :offtopic iCeDmAn 06-19-2004, 03:50 AM Al's Hubcaps in Nassau County...did all my schnitzers for me did a great job! coolcarlski 06-19-2004, 08:27 AM Just got my friends E36 M3 rim done for 80.00.He straightened the whole rim out.The guy who did it does incredible wrk. He's located in Bklyn. Funsa is too expensive. He did my AMG C43 rim for me that got fractured by a pothole, literally tore the lip off the rim..Price-80.00 Quality wrk,I could not believe the price, you have to see it to believe it.The rim looks like brandnew and the weld cant even be seen.He smooths the weld out with a machine and then polishes the finish and you cant even tell there was a weld there. This guys from europe and has wrked on these rims for years.I'm here in Newark NJ hit me up and I'll show you his wrk which is just incredible to me. PM or email me at coolcarlski@yahoo.com themadhatter 06-19-2004, 12:19 PM www.wheelcollision.com in Bath PA, I used them and they did good work. whats the word with rimpro? those characters are butchers - I wouldn't even throw my rims through their window. Manny, go to USA Wheels in Fairfield, they are across from Globe Mercedes on Bloomfield ave. just look up USA Wheels, Fairfield NJ in Yahoo's Yellow pages and it'll give you everything you need. I've taken several wheels there and they are the best in the area. -Ron ayton 06-19-2004, 04:32 PM those characters are butchers - I wouldn't even throw my rims through their window. -Ron  how so, like I said I used them and had no problems....I was 99% satisfied and I'm fairly picky (there were 1-2 minor blems in the paint but hardley worth the effort of sending them back) like I said just something I noted but I was happy any experienceyou care to share? ///Manny 06-20-2004, 01:15 AM those characters are butchers - I wouldn't even throw my rims through their window. But they don't have a location nearby so I'm sure USA Wheels will be more than adequate since they are recommended by Ron. ///Manny 06-20-2004, 01:50 AM RimPRO and the person you speak of are back on good terms, Manny. But they don't have a location nearby so I'm sure USA Wheels will be more than adequate since they are recommended by Ron. oh shit the notorious one in the houseeeeee :buttrock sup tom.. all's good in da' hood wit' dem peoples at rimpro yo'? :stickoutt tdc 06-20-2004, 03:25 AM Yup. :) Oh, might want to check out the latest development for BFE... www.bimmerfesteast.com/forums :buttrock :redspot themadhatter 06-21-2004, 09:49 AM they clear coated a wheel of mine that wasn't to be cleared (polished aluminum) then the clear yellowed. So I had yellow clear over rims that I couldn't polish any more but to add to it, the clear began to peel all over the rim from the lip to the face, it just peeled everywhere and they refused to do anything about it. They will never get business from me or my friends again. -Ron dshilkit 06-22-2004, 11:02 PM if you're stuck for somewhere closer, there's a place called sport car tire in wilmington, delaware that does pretty good work. there was a minor screw up on a repair of one of my polished ltw rims, but they fixed it right up, no questions. |
