This was WITH a full cage and harnesses. Driver still broke his legs and neck. This occurred at a DE.

So, although everyone says take it to the track ... you have to realize the risks you assume. No one should belittle a person just because they do not feel like they want to goto the track.

We SHOULD belittle them if they do not come out to an auto-x though ... :stickoutt

OMG :eek: :( ...that is terrible! At least he had a cage...looks like the course was a high banked oval...I am guessing he lost it and/or was spun into the wall of the oval judging from the point of impact! Glad he survived though...man I hate seeing this sorta thing, reminds me that things can change so much in an instant :( ...

Yeah, it's not always about wrecking the car. There are other things to be considered.
