Who is it??? Place your votes. I am sorry if someone is left out, but these are the ones I know of.

LawyerM5 has to drive his Geo Metro all the way from Tucker for meets. That's a pretty long commute, right? :D

Heh.

Mine's farther out of these three, but Collin (Hornswoggler) from Jefferson is twenty miles further north than me. However, he doesn't go to every one like I do! :D

I'm on it.

I could also be thrown in this mix, coming from Alabama (almost) and all...

You gotta throw in a daily commute poll somewhere too. I might be able to take that category as i do 25 miles going then another 25 coming back.

The results are in!

Scott528iM (Winder-to-Perimeter): 42.5 miles

markb50k (Newnan-to-Perimeter): 54.7 miles

Bimmerdawg (Athens-to-Perimeter): 64.3 miles

I had to use generic Winder and Athens addresses, Mark is in the phone book. So if you live on the "other side" of town, too bad.

Yes, Collin might have a longer haul than G to the meets, but I have a shorter daily work commute - less than 1/2 mile from the house to the office.

Beat that. I'm going to lunch.:slowturn:

I'm 46 miles one way to work and that doesn't count dropping my son off at school...when it's in session of course. I need a Honda!

Mmmm...no, we generally don't ever touch P'Tree Ind. Sounds like there's another car similar to mine in that area because someone that I work with mentioned just the other week that they were behind me on PTI/285 and I told him that it wasn't me.

Let that sink in...

Geordie has me beat by a measly 10 miles, and I supposedly live in the Atlanta Metro Area.

Straight-line distance, you're about the same distance as Mark. Unless your driveway is 4 miles long, it won't make up the 10-mile advantage(?) Geordie has.

And all this time i thought you were sticking addresses in mapquest. Unless they have a feature for straight-line distance or something. :dunno

Andy's distance was an estimate looking at a state map. For the others, I used some mapquest - which still sucks for directions.

I used to be able to see my apartment from my cubicle at work. I could tell if anyone was in the driveway.. Now that was close.

I thought we are going for max distance, not the least distance. Oh well.

It switched around after Geordie was declared the winner of the home-to-bf.c-meet commute.

Now it's the who-drives-the-least-distance-to-get-to-work contest.

Brett and I are the front-runners, with exact distances yet to be determined.

Flex-timers working from home are ineligible for this contest. :nono
