Just a heads up for everyone that doesnt have anything to do Saturday night. There's a pretty kick ass car show on Riverstone Parkway up I-575 on Saturday night. It usually lasts from 6:00pm until whenever (usually 9:00pm or maybe 10:00pm). They usually have around 500+ cars, although it's been a little less this year because of the shopping center stores getting a little tired of no-one being able to park in the parking lot when the show is going on.

Anyways, I'll *hopefully* will be there in my 1961 Thunderbird Roadster. If you get a chance stop by. There are all kinds of cars there, mostly classic's, but I have seen quite a few mustangs, and Supra's there. I have seen a couple of customized BMW's, but very few.

Anyways, If you come to just look you can park outside of the tape/pylons for free and look arond. If you want to actually show your car, there is a single entrance into the parking area. You'll get a raffle ticket, and they raffle stuff off the entire night. I usually win a free meal, but I have seen them give away engines and wheels.

Anyways, Here are the directions:

I-575 North to Riverstone Parkway
Take a left onto Riverstone Parkway
You'll see a McDonalds on the Right hand side.
Just after the McDonalds, take your first Right.
The show/cruisein is in the Goody's parking lot.
(There are also lots of restraunts there to eat Dinner if you want)

It'd be fun for all of us to go up there with the BMW's and invade the scene.

My parents go to this meet pretty often, I think. Them living in Kennesaw definitely makes that easier than my drive from Douglasville.

There's also a Car & Bike show on Saturday at the GA International Convention Center by the airport. I might check that out, it starts around noon.. :)

Just as an update, I don't think I am going to be able to make it this Saturday. Which sucks, but I just have too much to do this weekend... If I can, I'll run by to look at the cars, but not bring my Thunderbird.
