well guys, after about 6.5k miles on these tires, i am needing a new set. they are BALD and when i say bald, i mean bald. the thing is, it would be different if i really pushed my car but i don't. it is mainly just miles back and forth to work. i know they are cheap tires but they should last longer than they have. this is unreal. my roommate has some F1's and i know they are more money but he has had them for about twice as long as me and has MANY miles left on the tires and he drives his car A LOT harder than i do mine. just having to vent and warn everyone else. these tires SUCK!

I've never been a fan of Kuhmo's. For the Money and if they're available... I'd always go with the Nitto 555 Series tire

711s? Not sure what pricepoint you are trying to meet, but the Kumho 712s are very long wearing and low cost.

I have been pretty happy with Kumho and would buy again. The MXs are grippy and durable.

711's are H rated from what I remember, shouldn't be running H rated tires on your M. They're rated at 89 at best.

those are not an M tire, that's why. your car has too much power for those tires....for either version of the supra ecstas.

you should have gone with the MXs...thats a great set of kuhmo tires at a great price.

the supra ecstas are a great tire for someone like me though with a 318....i have had my 225/45/17 711s for around 14K miles....still got a little left one them too.

like i said, you just have too much car and not enough tire.

oh and the 711s are W rated too.

I have the 711's on my nissan maxima and right now they have about 30k on them. I just rotated them too , and expect to get another 15k - 20k out of them. The road noise did increase as they got older. They are a pretty good tire , just not for a M.

I've had the 711's on my modded 325 for almost 4 k miles now and they still look brand new...and I drive my car hard about 50% of the time....I love these tires and for $485 installed and free tire roation and balancing for the life of the tire....I wouldn't hesitate buying these again....I want to try the 712's next time though...only difference is the tread...the 712's have 2 strips down the center of the wheel as opposed to one on the 711's....and then the ratings are different....W compared to Z :D

naw, my alignment isn't bad at all because both sides have worn the same. i really don't know what is going on. what tire do you guys suggest for about $100 a tire?

I've been asking myself the same question lately...did quite a bit of reading at tirerack at I think I'm going to try Yokohama AVS dB S2's.

Seem to get pretty solid reviews...check'em out.

I just can't spend $700 for a set of Pilots or S03's.
