It's a sort of a Porsche blue, with some metallic in it. For a better idea check out the third shot in the wheel well.

Eh... what the heck!

A quick update... The car's all wired and the lights are all in. Next step is to get the "dashboard' if you can call it that all mounted and wired up.
The addition gauges will be going in also.

OMG, I can't believe I haven't been checking up on the Mini threads....I feel bad :(

Matt, dude, that is SO friggin awesome! If you don't mind my askin, where did you find the mini, what condition was it in, and around much was it?

You've got my attention on rebuilding one of these...but I drop in a different engine if possible ;)

Hey Smith, kick ass mini, how much was it? Or how much money have you spent on it so far?

Found it near Lexington Ohio, for those of you who know racing, that's Mid-Ohio territory. The guy was an SSCA mini racer. He's got some VERY impressive stuff tucked away in his barn. But, that's another story.
The condition was rough. Lots of rust... The sills (rocker panels) had to both be replaced. The entire from clip was replaced. New rear door halves were affixed and the lower rear end was recreated. This was all done in our garage.

As far as different engines, I've seen a honda powerplant in one of these....

alright so it's been quite awhile.

The wood and the flares are just about ready to get some stain and then some clear.

The seats and carpet is all in. The rear bench and all the paneling has not been installed yet, but it assembled.

The dash is complete and the headliner is in place.

So... it's getting close.

As of yet, no new updates to the webpage, but I'll see what I can do in the next week or so.
