I got a 4 wheel alignment from Knowledge Performance, they are over in Kennesaw. Very nice shop, I got a tour from Marvin their sales guy, some nice rides in there, including a locals M Roadster which is highly modified for SCCA events (CF hood, he has 10 inch wheels in front with slicks, this car looks very fast).

Anyhow, the alignment went quick, and feels great. Just wanted to pass that along in case anyone in town is looking for a place to go. Was $75, came to $82 w/ tax. As Dean mentioned in a post, they have very new alignment equipment, same as butler, but a bit less (yeah!).

Anyhow I wouldn't have posted about just an alignment, but I was talking to him about their dyno system they have, which is new as well.

He said with 5 or more people he could do a special and make it $50 each(normally $65 for 3 pulls), and if we had 10 or more it would be even less. He also mentioned (this is the cool part) that they are looking to throw 'dyno parties' where they cater food & drinks and make their garage avail for a meeting, while doing dyno runs. If we're interested in another big dyno event, this really sounds like a great idea. Their garage is pretty spacious.

The great thing about the Knowledge Performance dyno is that it can do all wheel drive. I think I might be up for it for the Jeep. I've always wanted to see what numbers it pulled. How many people can we get?

$75 for an alignment? That sucks. When I went last yr it was $55 when theuy were at woodstock.

Probably paying off the cost of the move to the new shop. Still a good price when compared to some, since they also can handle dropped cars easily. They doubled their garage size from what I could tell (I drove by their old location Friday since I was in the area, only to find it empty).

I'd be up for seeing just how slow my car is on the dyno. I think it'd be cool if we did a 'meet' there sometime, and did the 'catered' deal if it wasn't too much (and everyone was willing to pitch in). Even if ya didn't dyno, maybe drop a few bux towards the food & drink, etc. A good # of the locals just did a dyno event so there may not be a big draw to do one so soon.

I'd definitely be in on this. I need to get a baseline on my M3 before I do anything to it. I missed the last dyno day because it was so far away. Count me in...

I'd be up for it. I'd love to see just how low my numbers are.

Why did they charge you tax for labor.

Do they do any tire mounting and balancing? If so, do you know if they are any good?

Yes, they do both and they do a nice job. I've been up there twice now, and both times I've seen good things.

I might dyno both the 3 and the Jeep.
