my 11yr old car pretty much came with oem tint (i believe), and most of it is worn down with after bubble marks. its a sticker based tint, and so i pretty much want to remove it. i know that peeling it off probably wouldnt be too hard, but what about the residue after?

OEM tint is usually in the glass - you've probally got aftermarket. just use 3M adheasive remover to remove the residue. Just be careful if you have a rear defroster grid.

eek... i think i do :/
Ok, be prepared to replace the entire grid. Generally when you remove old tint from a defroster that's not embedded in the glass, you'll either remove the grid with the tint or you'll introduce stress breaks in the grid in which case you'll have certain lines that just will not work.

im not sure if the defroster is embedded or not, but how much would it cost to replace it? (btw, i probably wouldnt need it for a while, mainly cus i garage my beauty on a regular basis , and cold weather around here is rare :D)
