How do you guys keep you microfiber towels static free? You can't use dryer sheets- I just detailed my car and it is a dust magnet now!

Burdell 06-10-2004, 06:53 AM I dry my MF towels on low heat, and I really only notice the static cling in the winter. It doesn't seem to make my car a dust magnet, though. Some members let their towels air-dry. Perhaps you could try that. cosM3os 06-10-2004, 09:40 AM I think you want the static--it's what makes the towel such a good dust magnet. I think the reason they say no dryer sheets or softener is because it kills the static. The towel is not charging your car causing it to attract dust. Dust is dust--it's everywhere. |
