Those of you that have seen my car know how slammed it was. After a long wait my new springs finally came in and were installed today. Found out two other things about my car while getting springs installed. One, the sway bar mounting point was cracked on one side and so worn on the other side that you could flex it with your fingers. Justin's guess was from the car being undersprung with stiffer sway bars installed, so the sway bars were trying to do too much. Justin had to make two gussets and weld them to the sway bars mounts. Second thing I learned, from my alignment one of my rear tires is corded. Couldn't see it unless I was under the car.
I put 7 inch 450lb front springs and 550lb in the rear. When I saw the car down off the lift the first time I was like DAMN, let's go 4 wheelin. It looks so friggin high to me now. I guess anything would look high compared to the way it looked before.
Car sure felt good driving home, much firmer than before and no noise out of the rear end.
Now about new tires...............

That's too bad. How many miles did you put on those tires?

I think I got about 14k on the tires, not sure about that. If it weren't for the 2degree negative camber the rest of the tire looked good it was just the inside edge that was worn away.
As soon as the weather improves I get some pics and post them.
The car wasn't too low from a looks stand point, I loved it. I did have some issues with speed bumps and the curb in my driveway. The thing is, it was killing the springs. Well, that and I think the springs sold to me weren't up to the task. GC sends 6" 450lb springs with the kit and I just don't think that's enough. If it was a 7' that would probably have worked out ok.
The real reason I went with 7" springs was to get some adjustability back, The adjusters were at the very top and the car was slammed. What I think I might try next is to go back to a 6" spring in the front, leave 7s in the back to get some rake back and I will also be able to lower the car in the back some.
Oh yea, ordered tires today. Now just have to see if I can get them in before Sunday.

I'm running 6" 525 springs in rear and no problems at all... I have to go slow on big speed bumps or railroad tracks, thats about it. I have their street/track coil-overs + other parts.
What about your RSM's? I wonder if those are busted out, if that would make you sit lower? It almost sounds like something is wrong, unless your driveway really is that bad.
If you are looking for somebody to help with the work, you might want to check with Dan Law in Peachtree city. He is very good with suspension work (I believe he resells for GC, and has spare GC parts) and can corner balance and align your ride afterwards. He did great work for me and a nice guy. (770) 631-6779 is his number.
Did your car look this low: (thats me after corner balancing)

Yea, my car was at least that low if not lower. RSMs have been checked. look good. I really think the springs were just shot. Maybe I can find a way to get them tested to see what the spring rate is now. I'm really liking the ride of my car with the higher spring rates. I just have to get use to the new height or change springs again.
I'll be checking corner weights on the car soon to see where they are with these heights too.
Here's the only pic of my car I could find that shows how low it was. Car is as dirty as it usually is so ignore that part.
