Hey everyone. Recently, I've met a nice group of car enthusiasts when I went to a Wawa on route 9. Ever since than, we have got some pretty large meets going at the Marlboro plaza on route 9(the one with the Mc Donalds and Kohls). There is a large variety of cars there, ranging from worked hondas, mustangs & lightnings, Z06s,srt4s, supra turbos,lancer evos, porsches, an M5, 2 lamborghini murceialgos have shown, G35 & 350zs, lots of VWs, a sweet S4, etc etc etc.. Anyways, the bimmer scene has been kind of weak- just me, a friend with a 325is, and an Avus Blue M5. I was wondering if there were any people on the board that would be interested in coming to hang out with us. We usually meet at the Shop Rite parking lot at 10 p.m. on every nice night. We usually hang there till 12-1 a.m. If you want to PM me your cell phone number and a name, I could give you a call when we are scheduled to go. I believe we might meet tonight( Tuesday, June 8th,2004), so if you want to swing by, come around 10 p.m.

BTW- This invitation is not limited to just BMWs. If you got friends that are car nuts, bring them too! The more the merrier! We usually have 20-30 cars per night.

Its actually the Pathmark parking lot we meet in right off RT. 520 and 9. Im the guy with the 325is.....Recently there have been some very large groups so we've been relocating as the night goes on so if anyone is interested in going you'd be better off sending either me or Joe(advant123) your name and cell number so if we move to another spot on RT.9 we could tell you.

I go to school at exit 145- NJIT to be more exact. It takes me less than an hour to get down there with no traffic( fastest I've made it is in 37 minutes- but thats flying....)

Its ok, you didn't miss much. Most of the cars didn't get there till around 11 pm. Overall, it was kind of weak compared to other nights we've had. At least 2 more M3's showed up- 95 dakar and a 95 avus.


BTW- Evan, how did you do against the Evo? He came back telling everyone that you didn't pull on him till after 100, is this true?

No I wouldn't say it was true at all. We only raced up to about 100, we ran into slower traffic. We went from a 15mph roll. He honked off. We got on it at the same time. My tires instantly started to spin. Thru all of first and some of second, I had 0 traction. We were still even the whole time. Once I hit third, I started pulling on him. Hit fourth, and it was some of the same. By the time we started braking, I had him by about 2 to 3 car lengths. Keep in mind Ihad no traction at all and those Evos have no top end. Imagine if my car hooked up and we had more room to run. It would have been pretty ugly for that kid.

Evan, thanks for the clarification. That kid has been known to have "stretched the truth" more than a few times, so I found it VERY hard to believe that you lost to him. He also said you guys raced from a dead stop, not a roll....
