OK, so I was on my way back from Canada and I got pulled over for speeding in Mass  . I first pled not guilty, got the court date, but changed my mind and sent in the amount owed. So now my question to you fellas is will the CT DMW find out? I called the Mass RMV and they said that they were not sure if MA was "connected" with CT DMV......Please, someone help me out!! :eyecrazy: Thanks

Let's just say I have experience with this one, I went to school at UMass Amherst for a year and would drive back to jersey every now and then, taking liberties with speed in MA and CT and NY and well you get the idea. As far as I know, only NJ and NY are connected, I have gotten tickets that would carry points if I lived in CT and MA and they were not transferred over to my NJ license, so you should be alright. That still leaves a little doubt about MA and CT being connected, but I doubt it, so relax.

Yeah, I got a ticket in NY and my father who is a lawyer in NJ said that the 4pt ticket i got in NY only transfers to NJ as a 2pt ticket because it is out of state. So if CT and MA are connected, its probably a similar system, and you don't have to worry as much. For some reason I doubt CT and MA are connected, so I wouldn't worry at all. Worrying won't help anyway, you can't do anything about it now that you plead guilty.

For NJ, yes. Only 2 pts per offense can be transfered to NJ for out of state offenses. NY may be different though.
