Sold my aging M3/4 and picked up a sexy 2001 525i Sport/Cold with only 35k miles for 23K!!! Silver/Gray.

Anyhow, she's as slow as my 90 year old grand mother & that's ok. I knew this going in but...

Will the Chip/Intake/Exhaust do anything for me in terms of hp & t?

I'm going to add new springs/shocks/bars to clean up the slop.
Tint tomorrow.

Any 525i guys out there than can speak from experience?

I love the car.
Just want a little more power.
Any thoughts would be welcome.

Although the mods you mention will quicken her up a good bit, she'll never be FAST. It's just not gonna happen. A chip / intake / exhaust should make a noticeable difference though

That's what I'm worried about. I think I'll change the rear gear first. Thinking a 3.46 final drive. Since the car is still under warr, I think I'll leave the engine alone. I have a big sway bar kit ordered. I think there will be big gains in the suss department. Not sure what spring/shock combo to go with yet. Any suggestions?
