Thought it would be fun to get a bunch of bimmers together and drive down as a group to this players run meet which will be driving through downtown denver on Tuesday June 8th. We will be meeting at the Champs parking lot located next to the Park Meadows mall at 6:30PM. This time I am going to have an R.S.V.P so I know for sure who is coming. Sorry about that. Didn't know that there were two threads. Art said put this info up as quickly as possible so I didn't really have time to search for another thread pertaining to this one. Ok, I'm gonna suck it up and go. I'm going to go to half my class and then leave take off at 7:45, be there at 8:15. Dont plan on staying too long. It's kind of a once in a lifetime oppurtunity. Screw that.. Always choosing a location thats hella far for us boulder guys makes it hard on us. You guys just want to meet on Lawrence st. down by sakura square? (Just past the 16th street mall) Its a central location for christs sakes. It's 5 min from the tivoli center too.

I think it's easier to meet in a outdoor parking lot with lots of space like the one between Champa & Stout at 14th St (across Denver Convention). This one I believe $5 per day.

We can park right on the side of the street at sakura square. To get there take Lawrence past 16th street, past two more intersections and you will come up on sakura square which should have a large sign on the left side of the street (with Pacific Mercantile the grocery store right there). We can chat and then figure out if there is parking somewhere closer to the tivoli center.

Meet there at 8:00 sharp.

We will be leaving shortly thereafter if the auraria campus, pepsi center or something else is providing closer parking.

According to the web site the cars will be displayed at Union Station, not Brown Palace Hotel...I don't know though...

We went to the car meet. It was ok the weather really sucked, but there was 3 Lambos, 1 saleen S7 and many other nice cars, but with the weather being bad kinda of screwed up the whole plan so maybe next time.

I went to Union St Station and was driving around. Saw some of the cars, Saleen, Ti Silver M3, Porsche.

I saw some guy driving a Porsche 959. Didn't know if it was a body kit or not. Looked hot.

Anyway, I didn't stop because didn't want to park and the rain was coming down pretty hard.

Yah there were supposed to be about 60 cars but I only saw half that number. My guess is some were still en route. Rezza said dado was in jail in Kansas city. It was worht going tho... Got some nice pics of those amazing cars.

haha Thanks man. Yeah the lighting REALLY sucked and all the people didnt really help things I guess... A flash and a good lens is all ya need. I couldnt get away from that S7... Just the sound it made while idling :ky:

Yeah I know Roland Linder very well. He got me into shifter kart racing and is always giving me tips on racing. If you need any more pics or video's of his car or him racing, please let me know and I will talk to him and he probably would be more than happy to help out in taking part in your video or what ever your doing.

who? Roland? Yeah he is from Colorado. I've been to his house several times. He lives near Fort Collins more up in the mountains. Really neat place. He has a couple porsches a $800,000 Jaguar XJ-15 supercar and many others including his F40LM.

i wonder if these guys are gonna come through Denver again this year? hopefully the weather will be nice!
