Will using Goo Gone on the clear coat when debadging hurt the clear coat? Did you guys use the 3M adhesive remover or the Goo Gone

Go to your local auto paint supply store and purchase a pinstripe remover. They look like a big pencil eraser. Although designed to be used with a die grinder, they will work with a regular drill. You can use them to remove any kind of vinyl sticker, pinstripe, or badge adhesive residue.

goo gone doesn't damage the paint at all.
Used it on my car and a bunch of my friends' cars

Regular lighter fluid works as well and is cheaper (same thing a naptha) . . .

I've used it on guitars (pickguard removal) for quite a while and used it to "debadge" my Z4.
