Just got back home to North Carolina from New Jersey and brought back with me a nice addition to the driveway. After close to two months of searching, I found the car I really wanted - 2001 540i 6-spd, Anthracite, black interior, 32000 miles, 17" M-parallels, cold weather package, sunshades, all other features standard, Certified Pre-Owned and under warranty until March '07.

Oh, yeah - one thing surprised me about the car. I wanted black interior and I looked at more thn a handful. The others all had complete black, including the headliner and pillars. This one has the light gray headliner and pillars, but all black from the windows down. Is this very unusual? It looks a little odd to me - I think all black would give a much cleaner look.

Anyone hear of any experiences swapping out headliner, pillars, overhead handles, and sunvisors?
