How much is a reasonable price for a new paint job? I am looking to change my color from green to black as well as get the side skirts, front/rear bumper, and trim painted. Does anyone know of any good/reasonably priced shops in the northern VA/DC metropolitan area?

Also if i was to just get only my side skirts, front/rear bumper, and trim painted to match my existing paint color, how much would be a good price for just that?

And if i was to go one step lower and just get the major scratches out and small dings, as well as fix a small area of paint where the previous owner tired to do a touch-up but ended up f-ing it up, how much would i be looking at to get that done?

You would have to contact someone for a quote, but I think about 2-3K is reasonable for a paint job in any area. Depending on how many dings and how deep they are would increase the price.

If you want the paint to peel and bubble, then you could go with a cheaper place. The larger price indicates that they did a lot on the preparation of the paint. It takes the same amount of time to spray paint onto the car, no matter how it is prepped. It's not worth it to cut corners on a paint job.
