OEM black cloth top..

I'm finding what looks like worn or mashed spots just above the driver and passenger windows.

Is that:
1. Mechanical Problem?
2. Convertible Top Neglect?
3. Something I need to get used to?

Sounds like wear spots. On an '02, you should still be covered by factory. How often do you drive with it up?
