I'm new here and l'm shopping for a 2004 BMW 325CI.
Does anyone have any recommendations on purchasing one.

Should l wait for the new 3 series redesign?

How long would l have to wait?

I don't think we'll see the new 3 series until the Fall of 2005 as a 2006 model, if you're ready to get a new car now, I say go to it, they are making very good deals on 325's these days. There is a thread in the General Discussion forum with the current lease deals as well...

and even when the new one does come out, you will want to give it a year or two for bugs to be fixed. The new 3, the E90, are getting all new engines, so its a car to stay away from for at least one year, just on the off chance that they did something wrong there. If you really like the E90, though, Dave has the right idea. Lease a 325, and swap her for an E90 when the lease is up. :)

A buddy just purchased an 04 325ci in Long Beach.
He purchased it with a sport package but is wondering whether xenon lights are supposed to be standard or optional.
Does anyone know?

Yeah, dude! Go for the 325ci 04! Looks really sweet! As previously suggested you could turn it in after for the new E90 model in a few years!
