SOrry guys just went to the warehouse and looked. No go on the adjustable or camber plates with these. :) Sorry! Still a great buy for folks without the bionic suspension.

If you have the newer E46 Strut tower factory bar, we do have a very cool Carbon Fiber Kevlar replacement bar. Half the weight and twice the strength!!

Not to thread-jack but can anyone vouch or comment on the ability of these to affect handling? Seems like a great deal, but since these are a 'hinged' design, are they primarily a 'show' item, or would they erlaly improve handling a fair bit?

No Thread Jacking at all Parker. Like you I was wondering the same thing before we decided to buy all these things. SO we bolted one on our 330 and I was impressed. The set actually did improve the left to right flex and the way the car would buck on un-even pavement. It also seemed to improve the corner to corner handling on Malibu Canyon Dr. So I am pretty sure you will like the kit :)

Hi Jared,

Installation of the rear bar is pretty easy. You peel back the carpet on each side of the trunk. The carpet is not glued in but rather is held in by it's shape and the pressure. Once you have access to the shock towers, you remove the bolts on the shock mounts and install each side bracket. the hardest part which is not hard at all is you need to cut a 1" slit in the carpet in order to fit the brack through the carpet into the trunk. Once both sides are on and the brackets are sticking out through the carpet, put the carpet back in place. All that is left to do is to install the bar on the brackets and tighten the allen bolts with the supplied wrenches.

Simple :) the whole job front and rear should take about an hour or so to do and we even give you the tools.

I am sorry I do not have any better photos, these are going so fast today that we are just taking in the orders and shipping out. To get it to you via UPS ground, you are looking at about 20 bucks.

they are not hinged and they do actually work. They look pretty nice but were designed to be functional.

As I recall the GC units go under the car right? If so then the rear bar will work fine!

I want to take a minute to thank everyone who ordered from this sale. We knew we had a great buy here and we sold many more sets than we thought we would! We are now out of E36 kits the last was shipped out today. We have one E46 set left from this original two shipments.

From this point forward we may be able to get more at the special price but only in true group buys of 5 sets or more. They can be broken up in any order of E36 or E46 and this is only till all remaining sets are sold out. When they are completely gone they are gone for good.

Allright, I got the bars today and installed the front, and attempted to install the rear.

The bars are pretty good quality. Finish is good, but not perfect-some scratches on the various pieces. Overall pretty good though.

I was pleased to find out that these are not a typical 'hinged' design. When I ordered I thought they were hinged, but realized that this was not the case.

Front bar went on great. Rear bar was a pain. I spent a couple hours fiddling with it, because the fittment on the left bracket for the bar was poor. The bracket was:
A. Too tight around the bar (making getting the bar in/out of it VERY difficult, requiring a hammer)
B. Bent 'down', so that the bar was not the same height on both sides of the trunk.

Do to part B it took me forever to fiddle around with the bar. I finally realized that I'm just going to have to bend the left bracket back 'up' so that it is level with the right bracket (if I attached the bar at the angle the left bracket is currently at then it'd have like a 15 degree slant downward). Not a huge deal here, just a little annoying.

Overall im VERY, very pleased with the product-especially for $200! Absolutely unbelievable, for a non-hinged front and rear bar to be this cheap. Thanks Eurobahn

Sorry about the bracket trouble!! I have forwarded your comments to the manufacturer but since they are not going to make more there is nothing they can do at this stage I guess :) What is weird is that we never had that problem on our sets here. Over all tho it sounds like you were happy for the value and that makes us happy! :)

The pictures are hard to see clearly but they give you the idea. I hope the trunk was not too hot when you did your install. We did several here on hot days and man what a pain.

Sorry guys at this time we do not have a bar for those vehicles. This was a special buy we got on these E46 and E36 bars. We are working on some carbon fiber bars for other cars. We currently have a replacement carbon fiber kevlar bar for E46 M3 that weighs half as much as the stock bar and is 3 times as strong. See photo below, we hope to offer these for several other BMW models soon.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you all. We have been fighting to get the bars we need to complete the final shipments. We will be receiving the final batch this afternoon atlast!

We will ship out tomorrow afternoon all left over shipments as instructed by the customers. As far as new bars go, in this shipment we will have an extra 2 sets of E46 and 2 sets of E36 so if anyone wants them they need to call today and place the order. If you snooze you will lose!

As far as the 318 goes, I think it has a E36 front end? If so then the bar will fit I can not guarantee the rear fitment however. I am sorry we can not break up the sets so you will have to take the chance that the rear will fit or sell it to a friend.

We have 3 bar options for E46 M3. The first is this special deal running here. These bars are excellent and a great price. But you can not run adjustable shocks or ground control with them. Our second option is an outstanding carbon fiber unit that weighs 1/2 of the stock bar but is 3 times stronger. This sells for $299 bar only on this special. You car should have come with a stock bar that this replaces. Then we have our competition adjustable bar. Capabale of pre-loading the front end to 2,000 lbs. This bar is finished in a nice flat black anodized finish with bead blasted and coated set of attach brackets. These units and the carbon fiber replacement bars will work with ground control units as well as adjustable front shocks.
