I just got word that Precision Tire has reopened two days ago.

Under a new name and phone number - I don't know either at this moment but they are back open for anyone in the tristate area needing a top knotch alignment! :eyecrazy:

I was driving by and saw some trucks there. I wasn't sure if they were emptying the place or restocking it. Next day I saw tires et al in there. Man, was I happy!

Do you know if it's still being run by the same people? Maybe someone just bought the entire thing at a govt auction. If it's not the same folks, who knows what the quality is like...

Edit: I've got errands to run tomorrow, but I'll try and find some time to stop by and see what the deal is, and get some contact info.

under a new name so I'm guessing it's owned by another person but be assured that the same guy is running it from before. That's enough knowledge for me to run back there for my next alignment when I'm back in town.

if anyone has a chance, run by and get their number to post up in here. These guys are like the messiahs of car alignments and they do a great job for a great price. I trust them enough to leave my car there without me hanging around.

OK, I stopped by this afternoon.

Ron, I'm not sure who told you, but I know for a fact that the name and phone number are indeed the same as before. Scott is still the owner as well. I talked to him, and he said they are back on their feet and ready for action.

Does Precision Tire do things like bushing replacement/install? I've only used them once when I had to have a set of tires removed from my rims, so I dunno if they other types of service in addition to alignment and tire mounting/balancing.

Thanks.

Does anyone have a ballpark figure for doing front, rear, and subframe bushings?
