I got a display model Passport 8500 at best buy last week for $200. I'm not quite sure that I like it but I don't have any experience with other detectors to compare it with. There's only been one time in the last week when it went off and there was actually a LEO there. He was coming up a hill on a divided highway. The detector went off at time same time that I saw him. What's the use of that?
